WTH! It is great stuff, but why so expensive. It would take 4 of them to fill the reservoir. So I love the OEM SOA fluid, but the price is between $5-7 for 32ozs. Found under the hood of every car, the fluid is poured into a secure reservoir. Tablets or crystals that have to be dissolved into distilled water. Additive or concentrate liquid that needs to be mixed into water. (Prevents your windshield from fogging up and ruining your car's visibility - The rain-x 5061320 is a high performance windshield washer fluid that will quickly and easily clean your windshield.) Best Budget: Prestone Bug Wash Windshield Washer Fluid. Windshield wiper fluid normally comes in three forms: Pre-mixed liquid that is ready for use out of the bottle. With the constant remelting of the precipitation with oil/sand/salt on the road I noticed when my OEM fluid ran out, and I replaced with regular types of fluid I get crappy bright white films being streaked. Best Overall: Rain-X 5061320 Windshield Washer Fluid 1 Gallon. I live in Colorado and it's been snowing at least 2 days a week for the past 7 weeks. I went to buy other stuff from Wally World and it comes out of the jets and lands on the windshield like water (but it still blue). Nextzett is a high-performance solution thats crystal clear. My personal opinion is since buying 2 new vehicles from Subaru in '06 after the OEM fluid is gone, you'll miss the light foam/mist that the formula emits. Nextzett Kristall Klar Washer Fluid 1:200 Concentrate 8.5 Fluid Ounces. Plus I have used it several times before in my 2 previous Impreza's. I imagine the oils used to make water repel don't mix well with the soft rubber. My local Soobie Dealership's Service QC manager says the orange stains any black or real dark vehicles, also Rain-X wrecks wipers. As a matter of fact, you can get one gallon less than five dollars. Plus, their windshield wiper fluid is the exact opposite of expensive. The Prestone brand is viewed as the best brand available. I know most of us will say Rain-X, but I have 2 reasons why not. Avoid a roadside emergency with the best windshield wiper fluid for cold weather.
